Basic info:

I’m a 3rd year student studying at Queen’s university in the Political studies department. Food is my true passion and I hope to explore that through my blogs =)

Inspiration for the blog/name:

Although I do have a blog all about the food that I make/eat I wanted to create something entirely different. I was always a fan of shows such as “The Secret life of…”, “Unwrapped” , “How it’s Made – food”…. etc. There are so many different aspects when it comes to food: the variations, the life history, the methods of prepartion, the symbolism… Hence where the name came in; food variables. Just like with anything else in life, there are so many variables to make food what it is. I want this blog to explore that. Who knows where my findings will take me.
